Mailbox Monday & Contest Winners
The planets must be in a strange alignment this week because for the first (or maybe second) time since starting my book blog, I’m partaking in the Mailbox Mondays meme, hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page.
I was positively frothing on Friday when I ripped into the padded envelope that contained Jen Lancaster’s newest adventure, My Fair Lazy. It slipped my mind that this book was even being published this week. A Single Man was a treat from Care at Care’s Online Book Club–I can’t wait to whip through it and then watch the movie version starring *swoon* Colin Firth.
My Name is Memory is the latest from Ann Brashares of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants fame. This is Brashares’ second adult novel and the first book of a planned trilogy and I received it from Riverhead Press.
You Better Not Cry by Augusten Burroughs and Manhood For Amateurs by Michael Chabon were library picks–technically not in my mailbox but I didn’t want them to feel left out of the photo session.
And now for the winners of my little giveaway! The two lucky readers who will receive a copy of The Queen of Palmyra (with my autograph if they would so desire) are:
Congratulations and thanks to everyone who entered. I’ll be contacting the winners shortly!
